Technical Assistant - (Languages)
For further development of our Language Extension
Packs we require people who have linguistic skills in one or more
of the following languages:

Preferably
with 3 years or more experience of software development and must have
MS Office skills for preparation of test documentation etc.
This
is a junior position and would suit someone who has a good technical
background (e.g. 3 years or more experience in software development
or educated to HND or equivalent standard in a technical or linguistic
subject) and mother-tongue or fluency in at least one of the languages
listed and is also able to converse in English.
The focus will be on developing stemming rules and noise word lists
for the languages listed, but will also involve testing and developing
of existing products and research into other languages/products. The
position will be located at our Ilford office. Flexible hours averaging
35 hours/week. Salary dependent on languages/skills/qualifications but
in the range £1000 - £1550 per month.
Technical
Assistant - (Languages) - Part Time
As above, but for part-time working, and for those that
can offer just a single language from the list above; students are welcome
to apply. Hourly rate dependent on languages/skills from £6.00/hr.
