User Thesaurus Plus is a multi-purpose editing tool for professional researchers, IT Administrators, or software developers working with dtSearch User Thesaurus or Macro files, or Microsoft Search (SharePoint) Thesaurus files.
Professionals - search with dtSearch Desktop or dtSearch Network and select from multiple user defined thesaurus files for high specificity search expansion.
Software developers - create multiple thesaurus or macro files for use with other applications that use the dtSearch Engine.
IT Administrators - create multiple thesaurus or macro files for use with dtSearch Network or other applications that use the dtSearch Engine; additionally they can create and edit Microsoft® Search Thesaurus files as used in SharePoint® 2007, 2010; SQL iFTS 2008.
Although dtSearch Desktop and Network have built-in editors for the User Thesaurus and Macros, they can only create a single file, have no sorting, merging, automatic de-duplication or text cleanup. For Microsoft Search Thesaurus files there are no built-in tools at all.
User Thesaurus Plus is distributed on its own for use in conjunction with dtSearch Desktop or dtSearch Network or applications using the Microsoft Search Thesaurus; it is also distributed as part of a Language Extension Pack (LEP500 series) for use by end-users or developers that need wider distribution licensing.
